NBA Plans Visit to Cuba

For youth development camp.

The NBA will become the first professional U.S. sports team to visit Cuba since President Barack Obama announced intentions to restore a relationship with the country. A four-day development camp for youth starting April 23 will be attended by two-time MVP Steve Nash, Hall of Famer Dikembe Mutombo, WNBA star Ticha Penicherio, and coaches Quin Snyder and James Borrego. The league is also inviting two players and one coach from Cuba to participate.
