Hornets’ Jeff Taylor arrested in Michigan.

Charlotte Hornets forward Jeff Taylor has been arrested in Michigan on domestic-assault charges, according to police in East Lansing. The police department said in a statement Thursday that Taylor, 25, was charged with one count of domestic assault, one count of assault, and one count of malicious destruction of property. His bond was set at $5,000. Police declined to give any further details about the matter. The department’s statement said officers responded to an incident at the East Lansing Marriott hotel early Thursday. The Hornets and the NBA said they were aware of the arrest and were gathering more information about the allegations. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver said Monday that the league would “take a fresh look” at its domestic-violence policies given the issues surrounding the NFL.
