Following in the footsteps of CNN—who canceled plans for a Hillary Clinton documentary early Monday—NBC announced that they will no longer be make a miniseries about the former secretary of state. "After reviewing and prioritizing our slate of movie/miniseries development, we’ve decided that we will no longer continue developing the Hillary Clinton miniseries," NBC said in a statement. Echoing sentiments shared by Charles Ferguson, the would-be director for the CNN documentary, NBC claims it was Clinton's aides who talked them out of the project. The cancelations make both networks once again eligible to host a Republican primary debate.
