All of the rest of you 2012 GOP hopefuls? You’re fired. An NBC/ Wall Street Journal poll shows Donald Trump tied for second place in the 2012 GOP primary, leading the way with a sizable chunk of the Tea Party support. Trump tied Mike Huckabee for 17 percent of Republican primary voters, but received 20 percent of Tea Party voter support. Mitt Romney received the most overall support with 21 percent, while Newt Gingrich received 11 percent and former Tea Party star Sarah Palin received 10 percent. Potential GOP candidates Tim Pawlenty, Michele Bachmann, Rick Santorum, and Haley Barbour all received single-digit backing.
