NBC,Ali Goldstein
At this point it looks as if Donald Trump won’t run for president anyway, but just in case you were worried: NBC has renewed Celebrity Apprentice and says it will bring in someone new to helm the franchise, should Trump make a White House bid. “We will bring the show back and have someone else at the head of the boardroom table,” NBC chairman Bob Greenblatt said in a conference call Sunday. “[Celebrity Apprentice] is too strong a franchise for us not to consider that." He did not say who, specifically, NBC has in mind as a replacement.
