You’ll be able (or forced, depending on your opinion) to catch the Olympics on the Peacock Network and its sister channels until the year 2020. NBC won the TV rights to the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, Russia; the 2016 Summer Games in Rio de Janeiro; and the next two unspecified Olympics. The International Olympic Committee awarded Comcast, the parent company of NBC, the rights over ESPN and Fox on Tuesday. It’s not yet known how much the deal is worth, but the figure of $4 billion has been thrown around.
