An 18-year-old man was charged with assault with a “machete type” weapon with intent to kill after he allegedly stabbed three children to death in New Bern, North Carolina, on Tuesday night. Eh Lar Doh Htoo was apprehended at the scene of the incident, but officials say a language barrier between them and the Burmese victims is making the investigation difficult. The young brothers were aged 1, 5, and 12, and two other people were also injured.
