The people who picked Virginia Commonwealth University to go to the Final Four are having the last laugh now: The 11th seed VCU beat top seeded Kansas 71-61, winning a trip to the Final Four. Senior forward Jamie Skeen scored 26 points, while senior guard Brandon Rozzell contributed 12. VCU dominated the game early, and Kansas came roaring back in the second half, going on a 12-2 run and cutting VCU’s lead down to two before succumbing to VCU. With the elimination of Kansas, which was considered by many to be the team in college basketball, the Final Four will have no top seeds for only the third time in history.
