Heidi Heitkamp, a Democratic candidate for Senate from North Dakota, puts Crossroads GPS and all the other political groups running negative attack ads in their place with a new video. “I’m Heidi Heitkamp, and 12 years ago I beat breast cancer,” the political hopeful announces. “When you live through that, political attack ads seem silly.” Seriously. She goes on to talk about health care and declares, “I would never vote to take away a senior’s health care or limit anyone’s care.”
