Neil Patrick Harris will have the lead role in the upcoming Smurfs: The Movie. The How I Met Your Mother star won’t be tinted blue, unfortunately; his role is live-action. Director Raja Gosnell brought classic cartoon Scooby-Doo to the big screen. Filming begins in April.
