The newest Nest candle is all about the bubbles. Sparkling Cassis is made as “pink champagne is infused with hints of crème de cassis, frosted cranberry, and wild fig.” As with all of Nest fragrances, you can sit one on your table and your room will instantly fill with this gorgeous scent, without even lighting it. My personal favorite of the Festive Collection is Birchwood Pine, but what Sparkling Cassis does is add a hint of party to the collection. The other scents are all about being at home for the holidays, cozying up by the fire and enjoying its warmth. This new scent is New Year’s Eve in a candle (minus the hangover). It’s bright and bubbly, sweet but not sickly. If you want a holiday candle that isn’t just another take on an evergreen tree, Sparkling Cassis is it. It comes in the usual votive size, plus a single-wick 8.1 oz, and a triple-wick 21.1 oz size. Or, you could opt for the reed diffuser.
