Netanyahu Says He’s on Historic Mission

Speaking to reporters on the tarmac, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed his speech to Congress this week is a “crucial and even historic mission” and that he feels he is “an emissary” of all citizens of Israel and Jews worldwide. Netanyahu is expected to speak about his opposition to a deal between Iran and world powers over its nuclear capabilities. His planned speech has widened the rift between the Obama White House and Netanyahu’s administration, as it was planned without telling the White House and at the instigation of House Republicans.
