Netflix announced it will increase the price of its popular “Standard Plan” by $1 to $9.99 per month. Customers who now subscribe to the service will have a grace period, but the increase has already gone into effect for other customers in the U.S., Canada, and parts of Latin America. This specific plan allows consumers to watch high-definition content on multiple streams at one time.
