In a bit of dangerously delicious news, Netflix announced Thursday that it will be releasing comedian and Parks and Recreation star Aziz Ansari’s third comedy special on November 1. Titled Buried Alive, it marks Netflix’s biggest stand-up program yet. Ansari says the decision to put Netflix in control of it was in part due to the fact that everyone who watched his last special (which he released on his website) told him they "saw it on Netflix." The news comes just one month after the on-demand Internet streaming channel shared its plan to start rolling out more documentaries and comedy specials, in order to compete with other live-streaming sites. Yep, HBO, we’re lookin’ at you.
