The Netherlands became the first team in this World Cup to win all three of its games with a 2-1 victory over Cameroon. Though a draw would have been good enough to see the Dutch win the group, goals by Robin van Persie and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar sank the hapless Cameroon side. Meanwhile, Japan took advantage of Denmark with its best performance so far and took second place in Group E with a 3-1 victory. Led by the impressive Keisuke Honda, the Japanese will now face Paraguay, who qualified earlier Thursday. The Netherlands' reward for winning the group is a date with Slovakia, slayers of Italy, on Monday.
