New Buffy Flick Ticks Off Whedon

The creator of the teenage drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer is pissed off. Joss Whedon emailed E! his reaction to the news that he will not be a part of the movie revival of the show. "This is a sad, sad reflection on our times, when people must feed off the carcasses of beloved stories from their youths-just because they can't think of an original idea of their own," he writes. Whedon is being replaced by Whit Anderson, a 29-year-old newcomer to Hollywood, who has been a fan of the show since her youth. "I always hoped that Buffy would live on even after my death. But, you know, AFTER," he tells E!
