A letter written by Kurt Cobain that was found in his wallet by Seattle police has been released 20 years after his death. “The note mocks his vows to Courtney Love: “Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife even when she’s a b**ch with zits and siphoning all (your) money for doping and whoring.” The note, which is starkly different than a presumed suicide note which called Love a “goddess,” either shows enmity on the part of Cobain toward Love, or the rock star poking fun. Much of the speculation surrounding Cobain’s death hinged on his stormy relationship with Love.
