For the first time, scientists have discovered a frog that gives birth to live tadpoles instead of froglets or laying eggs. The new frog is called Limnonectes larvaepartus and lives in Indonesia. It is a type of fanged frog because the males have lower jaw projections used for fighting. The discovery is significant because the reproductive system in frogs was completely different from humans, but this newly discovered species is much more similar.
