Race to the White House 2011? Bill Gardner, the New Hampshire secretary of state, says that if Nevada doesn't postpone its caucus, his state will move its primary to December of this year. Nevada, along with South Carolina, moved its caucus to Jan. 14 in response to Florida, which moved up its primary to Jan. 31. If Gardner shifts New Hampshire's primary to December, ahead of Iowa, he could reshape the campaign, giving an advantage to Mitt Romney, the former governor of neighboring Massachusetts and the frontrunner in local polls. When told of Gardner's statement, Nevada GOP chairwoman Amy Tarkanian replied via text message, "WHAT??!!!"
