Whether Dominique Strauss-Kahn is guilty or innocent, the scandal has confirmed what many have long suspected: the International Monetary Fund is a male-dominated club. Christine Lagarde, the new chief, pledged Wednesday during her first news conference at the IMF that "the value of diversity is top on my list of priorities." She also promised to increase the voice of developing countries on the IMF board.
