A group of New Jersey diners made an IHOP waitress cry—by leaving her a $1,200 tip. The holiday act of kindness was inspired by the “Shock & Claus” movement in Colorado, NJ.com reports. Zellie Thomas said the Paterson waitress was so shocked she tried to give the money back, and her manager reported that she was moved to tears by the gesture.
