Could this help his self-defense claim? A new photo of George Zimmerman was released Monday, taken on the night that he shot Florida teen Trayvon Martin. In the photo, Zimmerman clearly has a broken nose, and there is blood on his face. The image was released as part of the state’s ninth supplemental discovery, and more documents could follow, Zimmerman’s lawyers say. Zimmerman faces a second-degree murder charge in the February killing of Martin, but claims that he shot the 17-year-old in self-defense.
