NBC has released the newest version of the theme song for Sunday Night Football. Sung by country star Carrie Underwood, the song “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night” hits many high notes and will be played at the beginning of the broadcast each week. From 2007 until this year, the song was sung by Faith Hill, who relinquished the gig in April. The song, which is a reworking of the Joan Jett classic "I Hate Myself for Loving You," was originally sung by Pink.
