Zephyr Teachout, a candidate for New York attorney general, released an ad Monday night featuring her getting an ultrasound ahead of the Thursday’s Democratic primary. “What does his or her future look like?” Teachout says while a camera pans over an ultrasound. “Do we save our democracy? Do we flip Congress? Does Robert Mueller indict Trump? I don’t want to wait and see.” The camera then pans over Teachout’s abdomen and eventually reveals her as the woman carrying the baby. “You’ve never seen an attorney general like me, and neither have they.” Teachout is reportedly due to give birth in October. She is a law professor at Fordham University and was on a team of lawyers that filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump for “violations of the Emoluments Clauses.”
