If you ever wanted to follow Alice’s Wonderland adventures on Instagram, the New York Public Library is making your “curiouser” dreams come true. On Wednesday, the library announced the launch of “Insta Novels,” a new program that converts classic novels into eye-catching and interactive Instagram stories. The first story in the series, Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, is already available on the NYPL’s Instagram page. The library plans to release several more stories over the next few months, including part two of Alice’s Adventures as well as Charlotte Perkins’ The Yellow Wallpaper and Franz Kafka’s TheMetamorphosis.
