Critic Marvin Kitman writes that what News Corp. is losing in financial value, it is making up for in pure entertainment value. Kitman calls Tuesday’s hearings in Parliament, “The Masterpiece Theater…production of ‘Rupert & the Three Blind Mice.’” Rupert Murdoch expresses shock, while Rebekah Brooks claims to know nothing at all of any illegal practices at the paper, which Kitman argues is a near impossibility. He likens their defense to that of Sgt. Schultz in Hogan’s Heroes, who used to say, “I hear nothing! I see nothing! I know nnnnothing!”
