A news photographer was killed during clashes between rival militant groups in the Libyan capital of Tripoli, according to Reuters. Mohamed Ben Khalifa, who served as a freelance photographer for the Associated Press, died from a “random shell,” per Reuters. Fighting erupted in Libya this week, undermining an uncertain ceasefire that had been negotiated by the United Nations this fall.
