The Newseum is reversing its decision to memorialize two Hamas-linked cameramen after a weekend of criticism from conservative and pro-Israel organizations. The cameramen worked for Al-Aqsa TV, a television network linked to Hamas, and were killed in an Israeli airstrike last November. The Newseum included them in a memorial to fallen journalists. On Friday, they stood by their decision, but today they said that “serious questions” had been raised as to whether the cameramen “were truly journalists or whether they were engaged in terrorist activities.”
