The Newsweek Daily Beast Company unveiled a new makeover Wednesday with the relaunch of Newsweek.com, complete with a sleek redesign. As detailed in Ad Age, Newsweek staffers teamed with the design firm Huge to create a new Newsweek.com that aimed to create the same aesthetic experience that The New York Times’s ambitious multimedia story “Snow Fall” provided, but on a weekly basis. Newsweek.com will launch each issue simultaneously with its Newsweek Global tablet edition on Wednesdays. Soon the previous edition will load at the bottom of the current one, mimicking the act of reading a stack of Newsweeks on the coffee table. So start reading!
