Newt Leading in Georgia

And nowhere else.

A new Rasmussen poll sees Newt Gingrich leading in his home state, Georgia, which will hold it's primary on Super Tuesday, March 6. Of the Republican primary voters polled, 38 percent support Gingrich compared to only 26 who plan to vote for Mitt Romney. Rick Santorum carries just 20 percent of the Georgia vote while 7 percent of voters back Ron Paul. The pollsters observe that Georgia is the only state since the South Carolina primary that sees Newt Gingrich in the lead.
