Newt Supporter: Santorum Can’t Speak English

The attacks are getting creative.

Of all the things for which Rick Tyler could attack Rick Santorum, he chose the presidential candidate’s knowledge of the English language. Tyler, spokesman for Winning Our Future, the pro-Gingrich super PAC, slammed Newt’s competitor on MSNBC’s Jansing & Co., saying, “Rick Santorum might be able to win if he could speak English.” Strange criticism, but perhaps Tyler was trying to poke fun at Santorum’s recent controversial quips, such as referring to President Obama as a “snob” and saying a speech by John F. Kennedy made him want to throw up.
