Coming off the heels of President Trump’s demand for NFL team owners to fire players that take a knee during the national anthem and for fans to boycott those player’s teams, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced a unity commercial would air during Sunday night’s game. “We will air this Unity spot in tonight’s game. It reflects the unifying force of our great game, players & clubs,” Goodell wrote on Twitter. The spot, titled “Inside These Lines,” originally aired in February 2017. The ad contains powerful lines including: “Inside these lines we can bring out the best in each other, and live united.”
