The National Football League announced Tuesday that players will now try for extra points from the 15-yard line instead of the 2-yard line. Two-point tries will still be snapped from the 2-yard line. Defenses can also now return fumbled or intercepted two-point attempts to score two points themselves. Blocked extra points may now also be returned for two points.
