The NFL said Tuesday that it’s trying to identify the person who shined a laser at Buffalo Bills players during a game against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Colton Schmidt said a laser was shined at him during a 50-yard field goal attempt when he was holding for Dan Carpenter, who banked the ball off the left upright. The Bills still beat the Lions 17-14, but reported the laser light to security officials during the game. Some Bills fans posted tweets from a user bragging about the laser incident. That Twitter account has since been deactivated.
