Former NFL star Doug Flutie announced Wednesday afternoon that his parents had died within an hour of each other, both from heart attacks. "They say you can die of a broken heart and I believe it," the legendary quarterback wrote on Facebook. His parents had been married for 56 years when his father, Dick, died of heart failure. Shortly thereafter, Joan Flutie had a heart attack as well and passed away.
