NFL Vows to Take ‘Appropriate Action’ in Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Investigation
ACTION
The NFL released an updated statement Monday on New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who is facing two counts of solicitation of a prostitute in connection with a widespread human-trafficking investigation into a string of massage parlors in Florida. “Our Personal Conduct Police applies equally to everyone in the NFL. We will handle this allegation in the same way we would handle any issue under the Police. We are seeking a full understanding of the facts, while ensuring that we do not interfere with an ongoing law enforcement investigation,” the statement said. “We will take appropriate action as warranted based on the facts.”
Kraft, 77, was arrested on Friday for allegedly paying for sexual services at Orchids of Asia Day Spa in Jupiter, Florida. The spa is one of 10 parlors to be shut down after a months-long investigation.
