Nicki Minaj’s lawyer has dismissed a “frivolous” lawsuit brought by a man claiming to be the rapper’s former manager, according to a report. In court documents, Brandon Garrett alleges that Minaj slapped him so hard that it knocked his hat off while he was serving as her manager on tour earlier this year, TMZ reported. He claims that she flew into a rage after learning that he had once sent someone else to pick up one of her prescriptions. “You have lost your f---ing mind and if my husband were here, he would knock out your f---ing teeth,” Garrett claims Minaj said. “You’re a dead man walking. You just f---ed up your whole life and you will never be anyone, I’ll make sure of it.” Minaj then allegedly slapped Garrett’s face, knocking off his hat, he alleges, before striking him again on his wrist. Minaj’s lawyer Judd Burstein told TMZ that she has not been served with any papers yet. “However, if the lawsuit is as reported by TMZ, it is completely false and frivolous,” he said. “We are confident that the matter brought by this ex assistant will be resolved swiftly in Mrs. Petty’s favor.”
