Nicole Kidman, 58, will be back on TV soon now that her Paramount+ thriller Lioness has been renewed for Season 3. The news comes as the Oscar-nominated actress has filed for divorce from her husband of 19 years, Keith Urban, 57. TMZ, which broke the news of Kidman’s divorce, reported that she had been trying to save the marriage and that the couple had been separated since June. “All the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it,” one source told the outlet. The Wednesday announcement of Lioness’ renewal comes 11 months after the previous season aired. Sources told Deadline the delay was partly due to Kidman needing to negotiate her Season 3 contract. Zoe Saldaña, 47, who stars alongside Kidman in the thriller, will also return for the new season. Season 2 of the show, which follows CIA operative Joe McNamara (Saldaña) as she leads the Lioness program to dismantle a terrorist organization from within, saw a significant jump in its Rotten Tomatoes score, rising to 90 percent from the first season’s 56 percent. Earlier this month, HBO announced it plans to bring back Big Little Lies, another hit show starring Kidman.
