Although she didn’t come home with a Golden Globe last night for her riveting performance as a mother grieving the loss of her child in Rabbit Hole, Nicole Kidman did welcome a baby girl—via surrogate—on December 28, 2010. The child, named Faith, was born at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, and Kidman and husband Keith Urban are Faith’s biological parents. The actress and Urban, a country singer, reportedly visited the hospital through the back door last week, but now, TMZ is reporting that the baby is home. “Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret,” Kidman and Urban said in a statement released to TMZ. “No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”
