The 29-year-old man accused of murdering rapper Nipsey Hussle entered a not guilty plea through his attorney on Thursday, radio station KNX 1070 reports. Eric Ronald Holder Jr.’s bail has reportedly been set for $5 million, and his attorney is former OJ Simpson prosecutor Chris Darden. According to NBC Los Angeles, Holder was charged with “one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of firearm by a felon” after he allegedly gunned down the Grammy-nominated rapper in front of his store in South Los Angeles. The shooting happened after Hussle and Holder had a “personal dispute,” according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The two men reportedly had an argument on Sunday and Holder is accused of returning with a handgun.
