The New Jersey strip club known as Satin Dolls in real life, but more famously as Bada Bing! in HBO’s The Sopranos, was forced to shut down Sunday by state officials. Earlier in December, the state’s attorney general ordered the club’s shuttering because its owner, Anthony “Tony Lodi” Cardinalle, was among a group of men from organized-crime families recently convicted of racketeering and therefore barred from having a liquor license. “It’s time to shut it down,” the attorney general, Christopher Porrino, said in a statement. According to NorthJersey.com, the famed club’s final hours were met by a mostly empty parking lot and few patrons.
