No Doubt Pulls Offensive Video

Apologizes for trivializing Native Americans.

Not so hot. Following a swift, loud uproar over its Native American-themed stereotypes, No Doubt pulled the music video for its new song, “"Looking Hot,”" and issued an official apology on its website. In the clip, the rockers dress in cowboy and Indian costumes, and —in one sequence lead singer Gwen Stefani appears as Pocahontas and writhes while shackled against a wall, asking, "“Do you think I'’m looking hot?”" After critics called the video racist and offensive, the group said on its website, “"Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt, or trivialize Native American people, their culture, or their history.”
