Kate Middleton has married Prince William, but the Guardian reports she will not be known as Princess Catherine. William and Kate will be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the titles bestowed upon them by the Queen on their wedding day. The Queen also gave them regional titles of Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus. Kate joins Prince Charles' wife, Camilla, as a woman married to the heir to the throne without using the princess title. Camilla did not take the title of Princess of Wales out of respect for Princess Diana. She is known simply as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
