North Korea’s foreign minister threatened Friday to detonate a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean, as tensions continue to escalate between the hermetic East Asian nation and the United States. “It could be the most powerful detonation of an H-bomb in the Pacific,” said Ri Yong Ho, the foreign minister, according to South Korean state news agency Yonhap. “We have no idea about what actions could be taken as it will be ordered by leader Kim Jong Un.” Kim called President Donald Trump “mentally deranged” Thursday after the president, during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea.
