The Northeast is bracing for another storm after a blizzard blanketed much of the region and caused airlines to cancel more than 1,900 flights on Sunday. Blizzard conditions continue to grip the East Coast with the NWS predicting temperatures to feel like minus 20 degrees by Monday morning in Boston. The city's fourth major snowstorm in two weeks marked February as the Boston's snowiest month on record, the NWS said. New England isn't the only region that is expected to face brutal storm conditions. From eastern Kansas through the mid-Atlantic, towns could be hit with six to 12 inches of snow. Even areas that aren't expected to be slammed with snow may get hit with freezing cold. New York City is approaching a record-low on Monday with a potential to beat the 1 degree recorded on February 16, 1888 -- and that's without accounting for the wind chill. According to the NWS, "temperature anomalies on the order of 20 to 30 degrees below average by mid-February standards" are expected through much of the week.
