NRA Finally Addresses ‘Troubling’ Castile Shooting

The National Rifle Association expressed concern and alarm on Friday over the shooting death of Philando Castile by a police officer in Minnesota. “The reports from Minnesota are troubling and must be thoroughly investigated,” the guns rights organization said in a statement, adding that it will not comment further while the investigation is ongoing. Castile, a black man, was fatally shot in his vehicle this week by a police officer. Castile reportedly had a gun.
