Despite recent criticism of the gun lobby, after multiple school shootings have left dozens dead, a new Gallup poll shows that a majority of Americans have a favorable view of the National Rifle Association. That 58 percent of surveyed Americans includes 26 percent holding a "very favorable" opinion of the organization, the highest recording ever since Gallup began asking the question in 1989.
