Nuke Cheating Scandal Hits Navy

AGAIN?!

This time among trainees.

In the second cheating scandal for the military’s nuclear force this year, the Navy is now investigating allegations that roughly one-fifth of trainees at a school for naval nuclear power reactor operators cheated. The Navy says the sailors cheated on written tests needed to be certified as instructors at a nuclear propulsion school. The other cheating scandal, this one involving the Air Force, actually involved almost 100 officers who were responsible for land-based nuclear missiles used for short-notice launch. Many inside the military blamed an unrealistic testing regimen that penalized scores under 100% for the widespread cheating.
