The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced its 2016 inductees Thursday. N.W.A, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, and Steve Miller join the class of 2016 and will be inducted on April 8, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Artists are allowed to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first album or single. N.W.A made its fourth appearance on the ballot this year and is the only group to have formed after the 1970s.
