Arlington Thompson, 35, a resident of New York City’s Queens borough, has been charged with attempted murder in a machete attack in downtown Toronto. The suspect appeared in court Thursday morning to hear his charges after attacking the 30-year-old unnamed man Wednesday near Canada’s largest mall, the Eaton Centre. The victim suffered serious injuries to his head and leg.
